At Laughing Tortoise Mud Farm, I take mud, amend it with great care, form it, and fire it to end up with a harvest of colorful artwork meant to enhance the spaces they live in.

The tortoise- Queen of the Slow & Steady. Protector, representing both home and motherhood. This speaks to my life experience.

Processes

I create hand-built ceramic works. Although I use different firing techniques, I prefer the unpredictability and beauty of the dance with fire, so especially love to Raku or pit fire my work.
